What is Cabo Chat?
In a fast-paced logistics environment effective communication is critical to keeping trucks moving and customers happy. In our system that solution is Cabo Chat, this feature allows our internal service reps to communicate with each other without depending on lengthy email chains, phone calls or seeking out a rep in another office (across the room).
There as several key benefits to having an internal chat feature in our system. Cabo chat allows for increased efficiency within teams, reduced downtime, centralized and secured communication. Not having to depend on external sources also give peace of mind that we have an active log of activity that is accessible from any computer that has a connection. This flexibility allows for Cabo Chat to keep all our teams on the same page.
To access Cabo Chat, you must be a member of our TL team or have the correct permissions allotted.
Accessing Chat: General Basics
To access the chat feature, you must use the build a load feature and "complete" the load create.
Cabo chat will automatically open when you click on the load under your load tab, or directly after load create.
If you are not needing Cabo chat at time of creation, you can use the bottom X or the top X to close out of the feature.
This will return the chat to the yellow bubble, if you need to access it again.
Key Features:
Cabo Chat allows not only for basic messaging, but also the ability to add truck offers. These offers show a brief summary of the carriers MC information the status of the carrier, dispatchers name, a custom comment and even whom published the offer.
To start an offer, you will select the money bag icon, from that icon a dialogue window appears, fill out the required information.
Cabo Chat will also let you review previous bids by accessing the down arrow on the previous bid, this will display the previous offers information and whom published the offer.
Offers can now be edited by the rep as well! You can only edit your offers, but being able to make changes is a useful addition.
